Ways to Give

Online

Online giving allows you to give one-time, set up recurring giving, access your giving history, and more.

In Person

There is an opportunity to give during each of the Sunday services or via a giving kiosk in the lobby.

What is tithing?

The word “tithe” literally means “tenth” or 10%. Tithing means giving ten percent of your income to God. We believe that all that we have or hope to have, comes from God. And so tithing is giving back to God what was His, to begin with. Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything, and it teaches us to always put God first in our lives.

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Frequently Asked Questions

Once enrolled in scheduled/recurring giving, can I change or cancel the program?

Absolutely. You can change, cancel or restart the program at any point simply by logging into your account and making the appropriate adjustments.

What payment method options are available?

We are able to accept credit/debit cards as well as bank deposits (e-checks) from checking/savings accounts through online giving. Checks and cash are accepted during our in-person services as well.

Does Freedom Life Church have to pay transaction fees for online giving?

Yes, with all online giving, there are transaction fees associated with each type, although some are less than others. Even with fees, we encourage online giving because it reduces overhead by freeing up resources in other areas. E-checks (ACH/Bank Transfers) have the lowest fee structure and debit/credit cards have slightly higher fees associated with them. When giving online, you also have the option to choose if you would like to cover these fees.

Is Online Giving safe?

Yes – we use Tithe.ly and do not store any credit card information on our servers. The security setup we have used is the same as many banks and is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. For this reason, Tithe.ly is considered significantly more secure than many current offerings including actually having a credit card physically present.
